Tien Van

Tien is a second-year Computer Science major at UCF, minoring in Leadership Studies. As a LEAD Scholar, he has contributed 50+ service hours to support nonprofit causes and has actively participated in various impact and social events. Outside of LEAD, he is a member of STEM cohorts, such as: EXCEL, Prime STEM, and KnightHacks. He is a consistent Dean’s list recipient across fall, spring, and summer semesters. In his free time, he enjoys exploring nature trails, watching movies and playing games with friends. This year, he is honored to serve as LEAD Peer Mentor putting his leadership and mentorship into use to curate necessary resources for incoming first-year LEAD students to bolster their success and talent here at UCF.
