"This digital work describes leadership as a double edged sword. Being a leader is a great privilege; someone is trusting you to guide them or act in a way that promotes a greater good. That said, that privilege is also an enormous responsibility, one that can feel suffocating or painful. But at the end of the day you still live and you still lead, even if you don’t have all the details worked out. This piece depicts this in the vines with beautiful roses, hopeful buds, and sharp thorns around the girls neck as she looks up into an unfinished background."

"Two children and a dog stand in quiet innocence before a gathering of families protesting laws that seek to erase Chinese immigrant voices. Many are first-generation Americans, teaching their children that in this country, unlike the one they left, silence is not the only option. The soft glow of the sunset holds both tenderness and resistance, reminding us that freedom is not inherited, it is practiced. In their unity, we see leadership not as authority, but as the courage to stand so the next generation does not have to start from silence."

"My artwork depicts the UCF mascot, Knightro, riding atop a Pegasus. He instills within his noble knights a sense of bravery and purpose as he leads them forward. UCF students find encouragement within the college from both staff and fellow students, each of whom will help them reach their fullest potential as they charge on into their future careers."
